Fast-Track Your Progress

You Don’t Have to Wait Months to Feel Better

You are ready to change your life and want to jumpstart your progress.

Is This You?

✔️ You’re overwhelmed, stressed, or struggling—and you need relief now.
✔️ Weekly therapy feels too slow, and you want deep, meaningful change sooner.
✔️ Your busy schedule makes it hard to commit to ongoing sessions.
✔️ You’re facing a major life transition, relationship challenge, or emotional struggle and need focused support.
✔️ You’re ready to break old patterns and create a new way forward.

You’re Ready to Transform Your Life - Now!

Traditional therapy is valuable, but when you're in crisis, exhausted by slow progress, or simply too busy to commit to weekly sessions, an intensive can give you the transformation you need in a fraction of the time.

What is an Individual Therapy Intensive?

An intensive is a highly focused, customized therapy experience designed to accelerate your healing and personal growth. Instead of spreading sessions out over months, we work deeply over the course of one or more half or full days, allowing you to gain clarity, develop new tools, and create meaningful change—quickly.

With this concentrated approach, you can:

  • Gain powerful insights and breakthroughs in hours instead of months.

  • Identify and shift deep-seated patterns that hold you back.

  • Find relief from anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or emotional distress.

  • Develop a clear plan for long-term change and personal fulfillment.

  • Walk away feeling lighter, more in control, and ready to move forward.

What to Expect from Your Intensive

A Personalized Approach – We tailor the intensive to your unique concerns, whether it’s healing past wounds, managing stress, improving relationships, or overcoming limiting beliefs. Prior preparation allows us to hit the ground running when we start the intensive session.
Deep & Focused Work – With extended time together, we bypass the “catch-up” and “wrap-up” of weekly sessions and dive straight into what matters most. A 3-hour intensive can yield the equivalent deep work of five regular sessions—more than a month’s worth of therapy—condensed into a single day, allowing for faster breakthroughs and deeper transformation.
Effective Tools & Strategies – You’ll leave with actionable insights, techniques, and a plan to continue your progress.
A Private, Supportive Environment – Whether in person or virtual, the intensive is designed to be a safe, comfortable space for transformation.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • An intensive may be a good option for you if:

✔️ You want to accelerate your progress and make big changes in a short time.
✔️ You don’t have the time or patience for weekly sessions.
✔️ You’re facing a crisis or emotional challenge and need immediate support.
✔️ You’re ready for deep work and lasting transformation.

I’m happy to talk with you so you can make the best decision for your needs.

  • Therapy intensives provide a more effective and efficient alternative to traditional 50-minute sessions. In a standard session, a portion of the time—often 5-10 minutes at the beginning—is spent checking in, and another 5-10 minutes at the end is used for wrapping up. This leaves only about 30-40 minutes for deep therapeutic work.

In contrast, a 3-hour therapy intensive allows for approximately 2.5 hours of focused, uninterrupted progress. That’s the equivalent deep work of five regular sessions—more than a month’s worth of therapy—condensed into a single day, allowing for faster breakthroughs and deeper transformation.

  • Individual sessions typically last 50 - 80 minutes and occur weekly or bi-weekly.

Therapy intensives are intentionally designed to jumpstart your progress and help you to feel better faster. They range from 3 to 8 hour intensives and can cover the same ground you would in months of therapy.

I conduct intensives both in-person and online.

  • Neither is better. Research shows you can achieve the same results from either in-person or online therapy. The choice comes down to personal preference, along with both your and my availability. Many of my online clients prefer the efficiency of not wasting travel time to and from my office. Others prefer the confidentiality of online therapy.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is due when you book your Therapy Intensive. The remaining 50% is due on the day of the first Intensive Session. I accept cash or credit cards, including HSA’s.

  • Therapy intensives are similar to individual or couple’s sessions with the exception that the work is very concentrated and can be emotionally intense.

I follow a structured format that enables us to efficiently cover a lot of ground, while also taking time for breaks during the process. I deliberately schedule a coffee/lunch break in the middle of the session to give you time to relax and get energized for the second half of the session.

Prior to the intensive, we will discuss what you want to accomplish and what areas are priorities for you. I carefully monitor our time to ensure we work on the things that are most important to you.

I intentionally create a relaxed, safe, and supportive environment so you feel comfortable talking and sharing your thoughts and feelings.

  • Typically, insurance will not cover the cost of a therapy intensive. They may cover a portion as an out-of-network cost, but I suggest you call customer service and find out before you book so you know exactly what the financial investment would be.

  • Absolutely! Additionally, it’s sometimes very beneficial to be exposed to another therapist’s feedback and ideas. However, I would want to consult with the other therapist to ensure we are working together to help your healing journey. I would need you to sign a release of information to allow me to talk with the other therapist.

  • Great question!

I am different from most therapists in that my style is very direct. I share information, offer suggestions and don’t shy away from challenging you to consider making changes to your thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

Although I always endeavor to be warm and empathetic, I want you to get results. I believe you are paying me for my many years of education and experience.

I am the type of therapist I would want for myself.

  • Please contact me to schedule a consultation. Therapy is a special relationship and each person has unique needs. I want to ensure we are the right fit for one another.
