COUNSELING

I am clinically licensed in Kansas, Missouri, and Vermont.  I provide in-person therapy at my office in Kansas and telehealth, or virtual sessions for those in Missouri and Vermont, as well as Kansas. 

COACHING

I offer sex coaching, life coaching, and executive coaching worldwide.

TRAINING

I offer online relationship and sexual health training courses through Love Filled Life, my online relationship organization for those in midlife and beyond.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

FEES

I like to be very transparent about my fees.  I personally like to know the cost of something before I commit to it, and I feel that my clients should also know what financial investment to expect.

Individuals: $225 (55 minutes); $325 (85 minutes)

Couple’s: $250 (55 minutes); $350 (85 minutes)

Intensives: Rates vary by length of therapy intensive.

PAYMENT

Cash, check, major credit cards and HSA cards are accepted.  Payment is due at the time of service and is auto-billed through secure software.

INSURANCE

While I do not participate in any insurance networks, I can provide you with paperwork to file for reimbursement with your insurance company. This allows us to make the right, individual decisions for you and provide you with the best treatment that is customized for your needs. I have found that many clients prefer to pay privately, in order to keep their diagnosis confidential and to protect their privacy with their insurance company or employer.

SCHEDULING

Clients have 24/7 access to schedule appointments online through secure software.

APPOINTMENTS

In-person appointments are offered at my Leawood location, near I-435, College, and Nall.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Once your appointment is scheduled, it is reserved for you.  I kindly ask you to cancel appointments at least 48 hours in advance to give me time to reach out to others to offer them the open appointment time. It is often time-consuming and difficult to backfill an appointment with little notice. Appointments not canceled in advance will require payment for the full cost of the session.  Appointments can be canceled at any time through the secure client portal.

HEATHER’S CREDENTIALS

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and also a University of Michigan trained Sex Therapist, where I earned a Certificate in Sexual Health because I wanted to help individuals and couples with Sexual Health needs.  I graduated with an MS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served in the US Army before working as a senior manager at Hallmark Cards. I also earned an MBA from Rockhurst University and a Ph.D in Clinical Sexology from the Modern Sex Therapy Institute.
