This year, I chose to do these brand new die cut Christmas cards.  I love the shape.  I dragged my poor family out to Unity Village to take our family’s photos.  I’ll post more about that session later as it was a riot.

Here’s our card!   The front  …..

and the back …….

We took these photos with the express purpose of creating a simple Christmas card.  Here are the kids and the front of their final card.  It was printed on linen card stock.

The past few days, I’ve noticed that bit of cool in the early morning that tells me that Fall is just around the corner.  Plus, I noticed that the stores have their holiday decorations on display.     I can’t believe it’s time to start thinking about the holidays, but it is.

Every year, I take a photo of my children for our holiday card.  It’s fun to go back through those photos and see their growth.  I have many of them hanging up in our first floor bathroom – and yes, I have so many photos hanging in my house that I’ve resorted to using bathroom wall space for photo galleries!    Although the photos are fun and the children look happy and well dressed, they don’t tell the whole truth.   That’s because I was one stressed out Mama taking those photos of my children.  And I took about 200 to get one decent one.  Does this sound familiar?

So if you want to banish the stress and pain of those holiday photo endeavors, look no further.  I am excited to announce my Fall Holiday Mini-Sessions.   This is an opportunity for you to get a great family portrait and images of your children.  The sessions are quick, which is perfect for young kids, bored teenagers and football happy Dad’s, and they offer the best prices of the year.

Sessions will last approximately 25-30 minutes and are for immediate family.  We’ll start with a family portrait and then take individuals of the children, one of just the children and perhaps one of Mom and Dad.  The family portrait will be our top priority.  If desired, you can by-pass the family portrait and just take images of your children.
